The Q-AISES Rocket Team is a dynamic student-led project that engages Indigenous engineering and science students in utilizing their skills and training in an engineering design competition called First Nations Launch, sponsored by NASA.
In 2019, the Queen’s rocket team was the first student team from outside of the United States to participate in the competition, which provides Indigenous college and university students the opportunity to build and launch high-powered rockets.
Queen's University offers a wide variety of resources and support for all Smith Engineering students.
