Indigenous Futures in Engineering produces a number of fun and educational publications meant for children and youth. They are made available freely through partnerships with various foundations, individual donors, and research centres.

Please note, resources are available freely to Indigenous community members, schools, and non-profit organizations within Canada. For-profit businesses and addresses outside of Canada may order materials on a cost-recovery basis, and will be contacted before materials are shipped out.

What Engineers Do
An activity book for children 10 and under, to introduce engineering. Hardcopy versions of this publication are available in English only. Cree, French, Mi'kmaw, Mohawk, Inuktitut, Ojibwe and Oji-Cree are available for free download.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I’m a Chemical Engineer

As of 2023, I'm a Chemical Engineer is available in limited numbers as a library edition, with more sturdy pages and cover.

 

 

 

 We're Engineering Physicists 
Our latest publication finds Mew and Wesaks enjoying a day with Jay Swanson (Cree) and Maranda Cherry (Métis), two engineering physicists. From the VERY big to the VERY small, physics covers it all! This publication was made possible through a partnership with the Arthur B. McDonald Canadian Astroparticle Physics Research Institute.
